What a fun day!

Pioneer Day!

I know this was last month.... I have been trying to edit forever and finally did it!
Our family has been waiting for this day to come! We wanted to show Kai what a parade is like, so we went to one in Provo on July 4th, but we somehow thought that it starts at 10am.... by the time we got there, people were leaving! We just caught the end of the parade....(Kai was actually excited to see police cars!) So we were very excited for this time! Josiah and his sister Rachel did 10k in the morning. They finished a lot faster than I expected ;0) so by the time me and Kai got there to cheer, they were all done.... Well, we didn't waste time there! We left the race soon after to watch the parade! Kai and his cousins were so excited to see it! Kai did a little bit of candy catching with kids and enjoyed eating whole bunch of them during the parade!

We took him to a carnival in the evening. It was still very very hot outside.... We tried to get him on a few rides, but he didn't like to go by himself yet.... Those rides are not big enough for us to go with him, so we just went on the Merry-Go-Round a few times together! He still had a lot of fun! Maybe he will enjoy rides a lot more next year!
